Outbreak In China Has People Scared, 35 Million People Are Now Under Travel Restrictions
An immersive investigation is taking place. Currently in China, there have been numerous cases of an outbreak is happening. Now, between 33 to 35 million people have been restricted to traveling. U.S. health officials said on Friday, they have diagnosed a second patient with the China coronavirus. One Chicago woman previously returned from Wuhan, with the exact same infection.
Health officials are also monitoring dozens of other potential infections as well. Guan, a top virologist who was involved in the response to SARS said they have also visited Wuhan, China and believes that the coronavirus is “out of control.”
At the University of Hong Kong, Dr. Guan is the director of the State Key Laboratory of Emerging Infectious Diseases. They stated, “I’ve experienced so much and I’ve never felt scared before, but this time I’m scared.”
Even locations like Shanghai Disneyland have been shut down. So far, the youngest victim has been identified as a 36-year-old man from central China. There are a number of travel bans which have been extended inside the central part of China.

This has put tens of millions of people on local lock-downs. Within Wuhan, where the virus was first detected, workers have quickly put up another 1,000 beds inside the hospital, to help treat those who have become infected.
When doctor Guan warned about the quarantine measures, they believe this might not go far enough from the massive outbreak. Those who have gone back home to their hometowns, have helped spread the virus to different parts of the country already.
There have been 830 confirmed cases of the virus within China with further cases confirmed in Thailand, the US, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam and Singapore. The virus has claimed 26 lives so far, mostly elderly people with existing illnesses.
From what is understood, a bio-safety level 4 laboratory where the world’s most dangerous pathogens are studied might have had a breach or accident where this virus was “accidentally” was released to the public.
Officially so far, little information given. It was said that the outbreak happened from an illegal animal marketplace taking place. There many snakes and bats were sold. These animals are a delicacy in places like Wuhan. Perhaps this is where this virus originated from.
