Florida Parents Turn Daughter Over To Authorities Before Ruthless Murder Spree

After discovering that their daughter was going to go on a murderous rampage, several parents from Florida decided to stop their daughter’s madness.

The arrest took place in Wimauma, when Tampa Bay authorities, discovered a trove of pipe bombs, among other weapons and materials that would be used to kill a massive amount of people.

The woman arrested was Michelle Louise Kolts age 27. According to Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister, she was arrested not long after midnight.

Michelle will be charged with 24 different counts of making a destructive device with the intent to do bodily harm or property damage. This is a second-degree felony, punishable by up to 15 years in prison.

Sheriff Chad Chronister said, “If used, these bombs could have caused catastrophic damage to hundreds, if not thousands of people. Something tremendous was prevented.”

Currently, Michelle is being held in county jail in Tampa without bail. Previously, authorities were contacted after Michelle ordered an undisclosed number of materials which included bomb-making manuals, from an online printer.

“She became consumed with the Columbine and Oklahoma killings,” Chronister said. “She wasn’t diagnosed with any type of mental health diagnosis at the time. She stated, at that time, her intentions were not to harm anyone.”

Michelle’s parents discovered their daughter’s pipe bombs and other items on Thursday evening. (Both of Michelle’s parents were formerly in the military)  

When deputies arrived at the scene, they found two dozen pipe bombs, smokeless pistol powder, fused material, 23 knives, two hatchets, nunchucks, two BB pellet type rifles, six BB pellet type handguns, and dozens of books and DVDs about murder, mass killings, bomb-making and domestic terrorism.

Officers there were concerned about all these hazardous materials, so they elected to bring in the bomb squad to further investigate the situation. Michelle was arrested while she was at her job and brought in. According to what is understood, she was cooperative when officers brought her into custody. Afterward, Michelle admitted to making the devices and wanting to hurt people.
